Suspense History

Each time a change is made to a suspense record OIPA writes a history file that tracks that change. All history records are stored in the AsHistory and AsHistoryDetails tables.

Suspense History can be viewed in OIPA when a suspense record is open. A Suspense History link in the Left Navigation menu provides access to the history for that record. All changes made to that record will display. Each history record will show the following details:  

• log-in ID (client number ) of the person making the change

• the type of change that was made (operation)

• the type of record that was updated

• a date and time stamp (Updated GMT)

Steps to Access Suspense History

1. Click Suspense on the Main menu.
2. Click the Suspense Records option under Suspense. The Suspense screen will open.
3. Click Find at the bottom of the Suspense screen. This will allow you to search for a suspense record.
4. Enter the suspense number in the search field, or enter any other defining characteristic that will help you locate the suspense record.
5. Click Find after the suspense search criteria is entered.
6. Locate the suspense record in the results table and click the record. This will open the suspense record and reveal the suspense details.
7. Click the Suspense History link in the Left Navigation menu. The history of all actions on that suspense record will display.
8. Click a history record from the grid to reveal all of the history details.
9. Click the Suspense Record Left Navigation menu link to return to the original suspense record.
